What is high pressure ?
High pressure washer or pressure washer is a high pressure mechanical sprayer used to remove loose paint, mold, grime, dust, mud, chewing gum, dirt and other stains from surfaces and objects such as buildings, vehicles and concrete.
How much pressure does it produce ?
High pressure washer produce pressures from 750 to 30,000 psi or more. Pressure of washer varies with different brands.

How does it work ?
Pressure washer has an electrical powered motor that powers a water pump. The pump accelerates the water, supplied from a garden hose to produce high pressure. When the trigger is pulled, the water mixes with the air and comes out of the nozzle.
One end of garden hose needs to be connected to the tap and another end in the pressure washer. It also works when you insert the garden hose in the bucket of water. But in that case the pressure won’t be similar as connected to the tap.
